Briefly: Oh no! (Fill-in-the-blank) is in college and has NEVER HAD SEX! We’d better get all of our girlfriends together and FIX THIS HORRIBLE PROBLEM! Does (name here) have the COJONES to follow through? (Wah-wah-wahhhhhhhh.)
Didja Like It?: Seriously? Does EVERY SINGLE New Adult book have to be about some serious chick with “fun-loving” (aka drunk n slutty) friends who feel she’s hit the books for long enough…now it’s (cue the boom chicka wow wow) Miller (or Jones or Smith or whomever) Time? If so, then I’m done.
Oh but wait…there’s other stuff going on, like she wants to be an actress! And that hot British guy that she took home (but couldn’t quite bring herself to do THE DEED with) oh yes, she’ll see him again…and in the most embarrassing of places! Then, what if she realizes that she wants MORE than a one night stand? But wait…does one of her close guy friends like her? MONKEY WRENCH!
Anything Else to Mention?: What is the cherry (sorry) on the top of this melted slop of a sundae? That horribly uncomfortable photo on the cover. Come on, the guy looks 12. And not what I imagined at all (OK, that part’s on me.) But worst of all – I can’t even tell you (because I am a lady of good breeding and I don’t write of things like golden showers) what it looks like the guy is doing to the girl. GROSS!
