Join Me in These Two Reading Challenges!

2016 Reading Assign ChallengeI’m pretty 50/50 on reading challenges. I either throw myself in and collapse at the end or barely do anything. I did the COYER (Clean Out Your E-Reader) challenge last summer, and it nearly killed me. Instead of concentrating on the books that I already owned and needed to read, I focused more on trying to find books that fit each and every of the 80 categories in the scavenger hunt, even if that meant buying new books. I was so worn out by the end that I didn’t post for a long time (FYI, that’s totally on me).

I signed up to join the COYER winter challenge, but I was unusually busy during this time and ended up not participating. I am going to try the summer challenge again, so look for that post in the next month or so.

While I was looking around at blogs I follow, I found the 2016 Reading Assignment Challenge that is sponsored by some of the same people who also do the COYER challenge. It has already been going on for four months, but anyone can sign up any time before July 1st. There are so many books on my e-reader and in my possession that I need to catch up on I am also going to join this challenge. (Click on the image and it will take you to the rules.)

I am committing to reading four books per month, which is 32 books for the remaining eight months. Let me know if you are taking part, too!
