It’s time for the second of five #COYER (Clean Off Your eReader) read-a-thons. Fantasy is More Fun says: “Take a summer vacation from your couch! Read books that take place on/near a beach or involve vacation.”
Easy enough, right? Well, I can already tell that it will be difficult to find books about the surf and sand that I already own. Luckily, I have a few tales that fall into this category, and will finish off the week with other stuff on my #COYER list. Here’s what I hope to get to starting this Saturday:
- Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul by Jeff Kinney
- Arousing Love: A Teen Novel by M. H. Strom
- No Alligators in Sight by Kirsten Feldman
- Remember When by T. Torrest
What are your favorite beachy books? I love summers in the Northeast, with their old houses and old money and madras, like in Nantucket Blue and its sequel, Nantucket Red, by Leila Howland.
I’ll be tweeting my posts with the #COYER hashtag as well as #BPRAT.
