Merry Thanksgiving and a Happy New Food Coma!

Thank you to everyone who has stopped by, commented, promoted, Tweeted, Facebooked and followed my blog this first year. Thank you to those who have allowed me to review their books and to those who had no choice in the matter ’cause I found your book myself. I am very grateful to all of the new friends I have made this year at Ink and Page, including bloggers, authors, librarians, booksellers and reviewers and books. Lots of books.

Of course, none of this would be possible (or probable) without the existence of BOOKS. Whether they are old school or eBook, from the library, brick and mortar bookstore, or Amazon, my gratitude for the written word, stories, and worlds different than my own is overflowing.

Keep up the good work telling everyone about books you love. Bloggers, blog; readers, read. Spend lots of money on books at Christmas, as they are something the recipient can never outgrow.

Enjoy your Thanksgiving tomorrow! And if you are in a place that doesn’t celebrate Thanksgiving (or you’re Canadian and have already celebrated), be thankful anyway tomorrow. It never hurts. And, if you’re lucky, maybe you can avoid the food coma like this little guy.
