The Sunday Post 3.31.2013

The Sunday Post MemeThis is a fun meme started by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer. As she says:

~ It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

Here’s the awesomeness that you read, ingested, missed, hated, loved {whatever} last week:

Let’s see how I fared…

What I Posted

  1. The Sunday Post 3.24.2013
  2. Release Day Book Review: Dear Life, You Suck by Scott Blagden.
  3. Paperback Release Day: The Immortal Rules by Julie Kagawa.
  4. Book Review: Everneath by Brodi Ashton
  5. Feature and Follow Friday
  6. Book Review: Remembrance by Michelle Madow

Lies, Lies and More Lies

This week was a tough one…I have three reviews due for books being released this coming week, so it was one book after another to be read. It seems like I always have to shift books around…so I still have some books to finish and some to start…after Monday it should be a lot quieter!

I did also get some more books…

  • Beautiful Disaster by Jamie McGuire
  • That Time I Joined the Circus by J.J. Howard
  • And this one that I am so PUMPED about…Dare You To by Katie McGarry.

 Social Media and What-Not

I wrote a <cough> little about the importance of being on Twitter in my Sunday Post last week. It made me want to write again about Twitter on Monday in my essay. Bottom line? Don’t be afraid of Twitter. It’s awesome.

I am also on Instagram…I like to post pictures of photo challenges, family and BOOKS! Check me out – I am @InkandPage. Tweet me that you are following so I can follow back!

What’s Up Next Week, Doc?

  • Release Day Post/Giveaway: My Ex From Hell by Tellulah Darling
  • Release Day/Week Post: Spellbinding by Maya Gold
  • Release Day/Week Post: A Corner of White by Jaclyn Moriarty
  • All week it’s Book Blogger Twitter Con 2013. Check it out.
  • Two books are due at the library: Reached by Ally Condie and Looking for Alaska by John Green. I will at least read both and post reviews this week or next week.
  • Slated to read and review Price of Justice by Alan Brenham.
  • Any and all of my regular memes that I can get to.

Have a great week! And Happy Easter if you celebrate.

  1. I’m also shifting books around right now to get to the ones I need to review. Surprisingly it’s not bothering me like it normally does. I’ll be glad when I get to the bottom of the current review pile though. I’ll have to stop by and see what you thought of Immortal Rules and Remembrance.

    1. I think we must get numb to feeling bad…not much I can do about it! Here’s a hint about Immortal Rules and Remembrance: one I didn’t like, one I did.

      Have a great week, Michelle!

  2. I have Dare to You and cannot wait to crack it open either. Love WD. I have booked myself solid again for April and May..so I need to keep focused on ARCs and I shuffle when I can.

    1. I always see the light at the end of the tunnel, then a stack of books falls down in front of me…I know, there are much worse problems! I am most excited to read Dare You To as well as one that was in last week’s list, the new series from Hex Hall’s Rachel Hawkins.

I just need to stop getting books from the library for a while – especially new ones, as I can never recheck those.

Have a great week and thanks for the March challenge (though my TBR stack is still the same size, I fear).
