The Sunday Post 5.12.2013

The Sunday Post MemeThis is a fun meme started by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer. As she says:

~ It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

Here’s the awesomeness that you read, ingested, missed, hated, loved {whatever} last week:

May is coming on strong – I don’t seem to have time to breathe, much less read and write! We had a super nice Mother’s Day yesterday, having dinner with my mom and my brother’s family. My husband is King O’ the Grill, so the marinated chicken he prepared was fab. But, let’s rehash what happened this past week.

What I Posted

  1. Last week’s The Sunday Post
  2. Review of Sloppy Firsts by Megan McCafferty
  3. Release Day Review of True by Erin McCarthy
  4. Review of You Are Here by Jennifer E. Smith
  5. Review of Enchanted, Inc. by Shanna Swendson
  6. Feature and Follow Friday: Who is Your Favorite Mom from Fiction?
  7. Release Week Review of The Reluctant Assassin by Eoin Colfer

Coming Attractions

So  here’s what to look forward to this week:

  • The Sunday Post (check!)
  • I need to complete my A-Z Challenge. Lacking? A book that starts with the letter “Q.” Are there any good books that start with “Q?”
  • Another challenge I am working on is called The Pushing the Boundaries Challenge. Books are chosen from a “board” and you roll dice, etc. I need to read Entwined by Heather Dixon next.
  • If there’s a good question, I will do Feature and Follow Friday.
  • There are still many other books on my TBR list that need to be knocked out. I will find one or two to read this week.

Three books are being published this week that I am reviewing:

Book cover Under the Light by Laura Whitcomb Under the Light by Laura Whitcomb

Book Cover A Summer to Remember by Jessica Gunhammer A Summer to Remember by Jessica Gunhammer

Book Cover Screwed by Laurie Plissner Screwed by Laurie Plissner

What are you up to this week?
