The Sunday Post 8.11.2013

The Sunday PostThis is a fun meme started by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer. As she says:

~ It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

Here’s the awesomeness that you read, ingested, missed, hated, loved {whatever} last week:

Angel Lawson Stuff

Don’t know how it happened, but I have been blessed with having three giveaways this month! Be sure to sign up to follow my blog and follow me on Twitter (@InkandPage) so you remember to take part. There will be one giveaway per week for the rest of the month.

This week’s giveaway is FIVE sets of SIGNED postcards from Angel Lawson. Five lucky winners will each receive two postcards featuring two of Ms. Lawson’s book covers: Shadow Bound and FanGirl! One of these fortunate five will also win a Vigilant bookmark! Contest opens at midnight on Wednesday, August 14th and goes through Tuesday, August 20th. The more you do, the more entries you’ll get! (Sorry, giveaway open to residents of the US/Canada only.)

 New Books to Read

So excited: I got green-lighted on the second in The Raven Boys series by Maggie Stiefvater. It is called The Dream Thieves and will be published September 17th by Scholastic Press. Thank you to the author, publisher and NetGalley!

Also, my Instagram pal, fellow North Texan and author Ashley Dotson was kind enough to send me a copy of her book, Beacon, along with a super cool t-shirt! Thank you, Ashley!

Lastly, I got an eBook from my library called Secrets, Lies and Algebra by Wendy Lichtman.

What happened to you this week?

    1. I want to read Scorpio Races, too. I really liked the first 2 in the Wolves of Mercy Falls series, too. I love her writing. I really liked The Raven Boys, but I know some didn’t.
