The Sunday Post 8.4.2013

The Sunday PostThis is a fun meme started by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer. As she says:

~ It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

Here’s the awesomeness that you read, ingested, missed, hated, loved {whatever} last week:

Fun Stuff I Got

My author pal Angel Lawson has made me part of her #TeamAngel street team. I have enjoyed every one of her books and won’t hesitate to recommend any of them. So she sent me some cooooool stuff to say thanks! I wanna share, so look for a giveaway soon!

So I Was Thinking…

I am still planning on doing a meme of “if you liked this book, then you’ll like this one;” but I am making some tweaks to it…I think I will showcase one blogger and have them answer the question. Then others can chime in and give their choices, too. What do you think? Do I have any volunteers for guinea pigs bloggers to feature? I think I’d like to start the meme in September, once summer’s over.

New Books to Read

Oh my. I got a few new books on NetGalley last week…

Thanks to the authors and: Adams Media, Alfred A. Knopf Books for Young Readers, Bloomsbury USA Childrens Books, CrushStar Multimedia, Disney Book Group, Harlequin TEEN, Macmillan Children’s Publishing Group, NetGalley and Penguin Group/Blue Rider Press.

What did you read/get that I need to know about?

    1. Ah, pooh. That’s happened to me, too. Plus I didn’t download something fast enough this time, and it was already archived by the time I got to it.

      Thanks for stopping by!
