Who can you trust? ~ ‘Only the Good Spy Young’ by Ally Carter #Review

**This is book 4 of the “Gallagher Girls” series, so there may be some spoilers re previous volumes.**

Only the Good Spy Young by Ally CarterWho would have thought that a junior in high school would be hiding in plain sight from a super secret international spy organization? Cammie has always known that she would go into the family business, but she can’t imagine why the people who supposedly killed her father would be after her. But then the other shoe drops while she’s hanging out with one of her best friends in London over Winter Break (heavily guarded, of course): Joe Solomon, her favorite teacher from the Gallagher Academy, is a double agent. He joined the Circle of Cavan when he was only sixteen and while at Blackthorne, the boys’ equivalent of her school.

Suddenly Zach is in front of her, and before she can register surprise, he tells her to run. In trying to escape, she loses Bex’s parents (who are no slouches in the spy department). That’s when Mr. Solomon finds her. He looks worse than she’s ever seen him. And he begs her to listen as he tells her to follow the pigeons. Then, in front of all of Cammie’s guards, he disappears. Off the Tower Bridge and into the freezing Thames.

Shocked, Cammie and her three loyal besties can’t believe that Mr. Solomon is with the Circle. Should they even try to figure out the cryptic message he left? Everyone they trust seems to think that he is guilty and that they can’t handle the whole truth. But if he is a double agent, does that mean that Zach is in on this too?

Another great chapter in the series. I have already read the next one (it’s a long story), so that means I only have one more book in the series (sad face). But at least I’ll be able to start on Ms. Carter’s new series!
